Style Configuration is a set of predefined writing style parameters that help the Write feature better adapt output based on audience and context.
Configuration Parameters
- Target Audience: General readers / Professionals / Academic audience
- Tone: Formal / Neutral / Informal
- Sentence Length Preference: Concise / Standard / Detailed
- Word Choice: Technical / Plain language / Business terms
Creation and Usage
- Log in to your DeepL account and go to the Customization Hub
- Click "New Configuration" in the "Style Configuration" tab
- Set the parameters and save with a name
- Select the configuration from the top of the Write editor
- All subsequent writing suggestions will automatically adapt to the selected style
Team Collaboration
Style configurations can be shared with team members to ensure consistent writing style output across the entire team. Administrators can set a specific configuration as the team default, which is automatically applied when new members join. Configurations can also be enforced to prevent team members from using inconsistent styles.
